Today is the last day of Year 2017. 2017 was a year of surprise. Jan 2017, economists were pessimistic about the Asian economy. Contrary to the pessimism, Asian Economy was in fact already on the recovery foot path and the growth trajectory thereafter was actually convincing, decisive, and impressive.
Coming to Year 2018, there are certainly plenty of nervousness amongst investors as the 2017 stock market rally was unbelievably strong. With US Indices breaking new highs, Hong Kong HSI gained 32.9%, I will expect 2018 global stock market to be exciting with more volatility ahead. Volatility means opportunities.
